Where Does My Donation Go?
$5.00 a week ($260.00 total per year:
Every year we sponsor at least one non-profit organization with needed funds for their related causes (like raising money toward their heart-worm medication or rabies vaccinations, as part of our Animal-Assisted fellowship program). Your generous donation will pay for the administrative cost for this program along with other programs listed below:
A onetime gift of $25.00:
An average $25.00 administration fee is charged from selective vendors (like Microsoft, HP, Intuit etc…) on items which they donate toward our operation. Your $25.00 donation would cover this administrative fee; have allowed one of our UNC Chapel Hill student interns the opportunity for some practical application using a software tool like Intuit “QuickBooks Pro 2013 for Non-Profits”. The estimated retail value of this package is $249.00.
$1.00 a week ($52.00 total per year):
Every year the Palombo & Friends Foundation will work with up to seven stories and their authors in determining how they can honor a friend or loved one who has died. They can do this by telling and sharing the story of their loved one with others. Your $1.00 a week donation could go toward the cost of processing one of those stories. Our website and e-mail system is protect by https:// and encrypted for your safety and confidence. Your $5.00 per month could pay for a full year of certification at its’ current protection level. This assures you that any information shared over our website is always safe and secured.
$2.00 a week ($104.00 total per year):
Our foundation participates in a yearly job fair especially targeted for individuals looking to assist non-profit organizations. Our next scheduled job fair is being sponsored by the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill in October. Your $2.00 a week donation could cover the admission registration and allow the continuous growth of our staff in serving the community.
$1.00 a day ($365.00 total per year):
We are a sponsor of other non-profit with similar goals. We are happy to publicize and promote fundraisers that support other organizations which aspire to serve our fellow citizens, especially those with special needs. One of our campaigns we call Animal-Assist Fellowship in the raising of money toward heart-worm medication, rabies vaccinations, or other Animal-Assist programs). Your donation of $1.00 a day could greatly assist one of these journeys in paying for some expense incurred by the foundation.
$10.00 a week ($520 total per year):
The official start of our 24/7 access to volunteer consultants and their services through a toll free number as well as website chat and/or Skype capabilities is planned to begin in 2014. $ 10.00 per week donation could cover the toll free service charges and attribute to the support of all three means of communication.
$20.00 a week ($1,040.00 total per year):
Our state of the art text-to-speech and Internet interface (ReadSpeaker) provides assistance in reading text online. By having the text read out loud, it makes the website more accessible for folks with vision, mental health or educational issues. Your $20 a week donation could help us continue this type of service to our web users for a full year.

- Educational Awareness (obtain volunteers and volunteer student interns which learn through real-world experience, North Carolina State Employees Combined Campaign, Charity Sales, UNC and/or NC State job fair and other types of liked information exchange events and activities)
- People Stories of Empowerment (Who Inspired You? people stories - writing contest and story sharing activities of special people who influence your life with their lessons taught in kindness and generosity).
- Non-Profit-Assisted Fellowship (Databases and other non-profits coming together to list related services for you)
- Animal Stories of Empowerment (Who Inspired You? pet stories - writing contest and story sharing activities of special animals that influence your life with their lessons taught in kindness and generosity) or inspiring people that give or have given special care to animals.
