Pets' Road to Hope - November 12th, 2016
|
What is out Pets' Road to Hope?
2016's theme was “Pet’s Aid to Challenged Students”. Every year the P&F supports another nonprofit in their efforts to support the physically and/or mentally challenged. This event will help educated the public in how the EYE Retreat organization along with other nonprofit and government agencies use pets (like therapy, guide dogs, and other animal assist partners) to enhance the educational growth of special need individuals. The event will include professional speakers in fields of educational development, entrepreneurship advisers, specialized animal training, availability of professional services (like EYE Retreat, Wags4Tags, GM Foundation, JoesHelpLine etc.) and other organizations with similar goals and objectives. There will also be musical and celebrity entertainment, dog training demonstration for those with special needs, and other activates scheduled throughout the afternoon, including a Pet’s Road to Hope finally march. We are having a writer's contest with this year's Pets' Road to Hope event. Since the theme of this year's event is "Pet's Aid to Challenged Students", if you have or had a pet who helped you through school please send us your story. If you are interested in more information fill out the form below and we will send you an application for the contest. The story's title must be: "My Pet's Aid in Education" - < Contest Rules > What is Animal-Assisted Fellowship ? -
