Pets' Road to Hope Story of "My Pet's Aid in Education"

The theme for this year's Pets' Road to Hope event is "Pets’ Aid to Challenged Students", if you have or had a pet who helped you through educational barriers please send us your story.

The story's title must be:  "
My Pet's Aid in Education". 


Is or was there a pet that inspired you through education?

We’d like to hear about them!  Here are the contest details:

  • The title must be “My Pet’s Aid in Education”
  • The subject is a tribute to this year’s theme of a Pet’s Aid to Challenged Students.
  • Word count: 300-2000 words.
  • All material must be original and previously unpublished.
  • The top THREE entries selected will be published on our website.
  • Winners will be announced in 2017
In addition to publication on our website, the author of the top stories will also be awarded a prize (to be announced in the near future).

How to enter:

  1. Write your original memorial story. 
  2. Type your name, email and phone number at the top of your entry.
  3. Make sure your entry does not exceed 2000 words. 
  4. Send your story to stories2@joeshelpline.org
  5. Submit your entry for 2017 Contest
